Did not even get to the food....

When you go to plenty of restaurants you expect that once in awhile you get bad service, but I have never had such bad service before I even sat down to the table. It started when I called ahead to see what the wait was. I was told 10-15 minutes. I put my name in and was at the restaurant about 10 minutes later. When my family and I got there we asked how long the wait would be, we were told 10-15 minutes. I told the host that I had called ahead to put my name in and asked if he had the name. He seemed annoyed and said, he didn't have the tables so it did not matter that we called ahead and we would get the first available for a party of four. So we waited. While we waited other parties who clearly did not have any reservations and did not call ahead came in. After at least twenty minutes of waiting a few tables opened up. We were called to be seated when another party of four that had come in after us said "we want that table" pointing to a table in the back of the restaurant then walked towards the host. The host then proceeded to seat them first even though we had been waiting twice as long. I wouldn't even expect this kind of rudeness and unprofessional shoddy service at a Denny's . We walked out and will not return. Who cares about the food when the rude service is sure to spoil the evening.

New Year's Eve reservation

We had a reservation for 6:30 pm. on
New Year's Eve for 2 (Damiano) We arrived to a restaurant completely packed; tables, waiting area. We gave our name, and stepped back to wait. We waited and waited. More people kept coming in and now there is no room, because the vestibule is now full and no one is being sitted. We inquired and were told "when a table for 2 is available". There was a lot of checking of the hostess with the men in the blue shirts.

One man came in and stated that he was in a party of 20. A party of 6 was sitted about 7:10 at a table that I noticed was vacant when we arrived at 6:30 those folks were already there at 6:30. Why were they not seated before?? There seemed to be
more reservations and not enough tables to accomodate all of the
people.

We were at your restaurant last New Year's, it was crowded but we were seated and enjoyed our dinner. That reservation I believe was at 7.
There was no back-up of people and the
vestibule was not packed.

I believe something was terribly wrong
with the system and I hope that the
owner is aware of the situation. I
don't know how the other people made out that were waiting to be seated.
We did leave at about 7:30 never being
seated and not having a wonderful meal. When we left, the sidewalk outside, now also had a crowd of people trying to get in.
