Pica De Gallo: Beak of the Rooster. A strange name for something tasty, but tasty nonetheless.

This restaurant opened up a few years ago in the middle of the La Crosse area, near the UWL main campus and next to Papa Johns. I've been there a few times for birthday's and it's made me look forward to whenever I go to Mexico, because the food is more authentic then some of the other Mexican restaurants (like Fiesta Mexicana or Taco bell, which you wouldn't really count as authentic) The atmosphere is pretty sweet as they have Mexican paintings, neat and authentic table cloths, and the music in the background. The food's pretty good too, I love the Pico De Gallo they have with their Tortilla chips. Not to mention their Mexican rice, and their birthday surprise is pretty cool. I'd definitely visit this place if you have a friend who enjoys a good Chimichanga or tamale
