decent vietnamese food
October 31, 2007 by linhjutsu

when its really busy, the service sucks, but the food is good, and most importantly the price is good. i love the vermicelli noodles with eggrolls and grilled meat. its definitely a good representation of real vietnamese home cooking.

Wait time and greeting: 3.5
-Often times you are greeted within the minute that you arrive, however if the restaurant is busy the greeter may not be visible. Sometimes there is a wait during peak times, but because of a quick, casual dining experience tables are rotated quickly.

Food: 4
-The food is overall very good. The food promotes a fresh, summery appeal. The staple Vietnamese dishes are very good. Menu items include, broken rice platters, vermicelli salads, fried appetizers, and soup dishes. Food is often served at the appropriate temperature and with ample seasonings.

Service/ambiance: 3
-The service is a high-pace casual style. No introductions, and quick service. It is what is expected from a restaurant of its type. With fast turnover guests may feel a bit rushed. Often times when the restaurant is busy patrons who do not know one another will be seated closely together. A large line of tables that are all connected may include three different couples. Most guests are 16 yrs and older, and asian in background.

Value/Price: 5
-Great price and value. Filling entrees for a low price. 10 dollars can buy a filling and satisfying amount of food. Most apps range between 3-5 dollars and entrees between 5-7 dollars.

Overall: 4
-a great casual spot to dine. Great food for a great value. I have ate there many times and i have not been unsatisfied once. Makes for a wonderful summer lunch.
