Best Italian in Tacoma

This is the best Italian restaurant in Tacoma!! My favorite is the Chicken Christopher. We always ask for Deborah as she is an amazing waitress. We go so often that she know's where we want to sit and if we make a reservation, she has our table next to the window all setup and drinks waiting. She is amazing and the food is superb! The Proctor district has that small town feel to it and in the summer they open the windows across the whole front. Oh, did I say it's the best Italian Restaurant in Tacoma?

We've been to Pomodoro a few times and the food's been good. They have a big selection of what you'd expect in an Italian restaurant and a decently sized wine list, too. I was happy to find out, though, they have Mac & Jack's beer on tap, so I skip the wine in favor of that.
The service was somewhat slow the few times we've been there, but I think in at least one case, they were unexpectedly short-staffed. It's not a place you'd go to anyhow for fast food.
Oh yeah, try the pork chop.
