long wait cold food

I arrived at Mitzel's in Kent at 6:45p.m and did not have my food served until 8:15 p.m. My friend and I ordered from the breakfast menu and when we asked why it was taking so long, we were told that because we ordered from the breakfast menu our food needed to be made "fresh". Now I assume they were not waiting for the hens to lay the eggs...but after such a long wait I wondered. When our food arrived, my hashbrowns were cold and my eggs benedict had cold poached eggs and sauce...my friends crepes tasted like they had sat in grease and were so rubber-like she could not eat them. I don't know what iritated me the most, being lied to by the server or the cold food. Obviously our food had been ready, it had enough time to get cold. I had a similar situation at the same resturant a couple months ago and we had the same server. I wrote that off as a problem with the cook, they can now write me off as a customer. We were not the only ones with a negative dining experience, when we left the couple who was seated before us was leaving and indicated that they had waited 23 minutes before their order was taken.

Almost 100 menu items to choose from something for everyone. Prime rib, steaks, seafood, soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta, pot roast, rotisery style turkey, pancakes, waffles, omlets and alot more. They even have a room for private parties and a small sports bar off in the corner. Fast friendly service and a warm homey atmosphere with the fireplace on the south wall.
