Love the pizza

I went to college nearby and Mama Santa's was always a favorite stop for pizza. It's a bit different than pizza you'd get at a national chain. The sauce is a bit sweeter and the crust is maybe a bit flakier. The prices are great, too. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

Average food

Prices are good, but the food is average. Everyone raves about the pizza, but I think its not terribly good. Its usually overcooked and the vegetables they use for toppings don't seem very fresh. The waitresses don't seem to want to give you the time of day. The only thing it has going for it is that its fairly inexpensive compared to the rest of the restaurants in Little Italy.
