Downhill

La Placita has never been a posh place, but the food was usually tasty. Recently however it seems to have gone down hill. The service is poor. They now give you your beverages via the soda can, not fountain style. We asked for chips twice and never received them. There were only 6 customers at the noon hour, so it isn't that the place was swamped. The Ruiz taco is still a hit, there is not disputing that. But in this day and age of competition, they need to do better.
