Best barbeque sauce I've ever had
August 2, 2007 by Steve Anderson This restaurant was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Pasadena area. Its in a cool, old brick building (complete with earthquake warnings about it being unreinforced!). They've been in the same place since 1948, and haven't changed their sauce since they opened. We walked by Hutch's one night on the way to dinner, and had to go there for lunch the next day because it smelled so good. We actually ended up going to lunch there again two days later just so the fourth member of our party could taste the sauce (OK, and so we could have the food one last time before we left). The waiter we had for lunch both days was one of the best I've seen...very friendly and very welcoming. He actually remembered us two days later and asked us how our business trip was going! Rating:
