Great Food, Terrible Service

I have been called a liar ( I did not) rude ( I was because I was angry - sorry) and told that even though I left my number for the manager to call, they wouldn't do it, because the person taking the message would be sure to let them know that I asked for something I didn't and that they shouldn't waste their time calling me. I have ordered almost weekly from this restaurant for over a year and that is coming to a screeching halt. My grandson loves their food & I order it as a treat for him, but I will be looking elsewhere. I admit I was not on my best behavior, but I did not lie, and she would not even consider that she might have made a mistake. That just won't cut it.

June 2011 County Health Department report - 23 health code violations. By far the most violations of any restaurant in La Crosse.

I've been ordering from Great Wall for years. Their food is the best American-Chinese in town. You gotta love the boy who takes the orders too - a priceless experience :). They even deliver to the North Side. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR DELIVERY/TAKEOUT!

I worked across the street from this place for 7 years. Filthy would be a compliment. I suppose it all you did was order food delivered from here it might be okay so you wouldn't know how bad it is. Bring the Pepto. When they first opened it was okay, but as it the case with a lot of La Crosse restaurants they stop caring about sanitation and upkeep.

We have delivery from Great wall and they are excellent. They are prompt, courteous and taste is great. I dont see why all these people are complaining. If you dont like the food or service thats fine but dont bash a restaurant where most reviews were good. These guys are in a line of business to make it survive like the rest of the business's in town. Good place.

Great Wall is the only Chinese place that delivers to La Crescent. They are HORRIBLE, told us it would take 30-45 mins and when I called back 1 hr 15 mins later they hadn't even made my food! The lady was rude, awful customer service. Then, we gave them a second chance and they delivered the wrong food! I called and she told me I had to give back the food so they could give it to the right person. That's DISGUSTING. When I finally got the right food the beef was bloody and not cooked. Will NEVER order from them again. I'd rather drive 20 miles for chinese food than have Great Wall deliver. Horrible customer service and the food isn't good either. Go to China Star on the south side of La Crosse!

Delivery is sometimes bad mostly in the winter but there food is the best chinese food that you will ever have!!! My favorite is the Sweet and Sour chicken and my dad's favorite is Chicken cashew me and my mom share our favorite the food is absolutly delisous sometimes there is gliches in it but its really good!!!!!!!!!

Fast delivery, great food, large amounts! Concerning eating inside of the restaraunt.. small but will do in a pinch.. usually we pick up our food and walk to a bench by the Mississippi river to eat. For delivery, we moved to the north side a couple years ago and fortunately they still deliver. Highly recommended for delivery / take out!!!
