We showed up an hour late due to the time zone, but were still seated within 20 minutes on a busy Saturday night. And we had a table right by the window to watch the sunset. The soft shelled crabs were perfect and the drinks as usual were excellent.

My wife and I regularly make the trip from Granger to the Grande Mere for their uncompromising seafood. The 80 mile round trip is well worth the drive. Noted local restaurants of choice in South Bend offer little to compete with this establishments superb fare. The Gallagher's

I'm one of the lucky few who live in the neighborhood of Grande Mere Inn, so we go there often. The food is great no matter what you order, it's a great value, and the staff is very friendly--and not just to us locals. Oh, yes: there's the view of Lake Michigan, too. Just don't ask for a window seat, or Matt might give you one.

My DH and myself go there to celebrate milestones in our lives. Every time we go we have excellent, attentive service. Worth every penny and the chocolate torte is AMAZING.

I don't recommend many things this highly but quality customer service, stunning views of the lake and a quiet calm with amazing food makes Grand Mere the best dining experience in Berrien County, MI.

One of the best filet men yon, escargot, lobster, and oysters on a half shell that I have ever eaten. The restaurant atmosphere is very romantic with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The owner and help make you feel very welcomed and treat you with utmost respect.

Amazing food, friendly staff and an amazing view make this a premiere restaurant in Southwest Michigan. The large windows highlight the sunsets over Lake Michigan and dunes of Grand Mere State Park. The dinner is always fantastic and the staff makes you feel right at home.
