Microbrew + Pulled Pork == Contented Nap
April 6, 2007 by Aaron

First of the ambiance is a little trendy for my taste. You have a large open "warehouse" style room that tends to the dark side. Even nearly empty there was plenty of noise. The food (Hot Babe Pork Sandwich) was excellent as well as having a good deal of vegetarian dishes. The menu in general is pretty small, but this tends toward a bar with better fare. The dragonstooth stout was very good, but the IPA was awesome.

Good Veggie Options
April 6, 2007 by quincy

I love the Elysian on Pike. (Not a fan of the Elysian by Safeco.) They have a number of really good veggie options: a great eggplant parm sammich, a veggie cheese steak sammich, a veggie bbq sammich, and even a vegan curry. I'm also in love with their french fries because they have that extra bit of crunch on the outside. I can't speak to the beers since I don't drink beer, but they do have a good cider. However, I'm a little sad that they no longer have a ginger brew on the menus.
