I have been to cliff's several times and keep returning because the food is much better than average. Their burgers are fresh and tastefully prepared with lots of ingredient options; but its not just about burgers. The Mediterranean selections are as good as anywhere in the city. The flalfel is unreal. The steak n a sack is better than a philly steak because you don't have all the pulpy sub roll and the tahini sauce really pulls it together. They have great salads with grilled chicken and good stuffed potatoes. The chili and daily soups are also good. You must try it if you are any where near the med center.

The moment I walked into this place it had a welcoming feel to it. The hospitality came from everyone working there. The restaurant is clean, the Marilyn Monroe murals blend in very well with the overall theme of the place. The food was fantastic. I tried the Steak in a sack and my food was ready within 5 mins from the time I placed my order. The sandwich was really good. It's sorta like a philly cheese steak but without the sub roll. It's lean cuts of marinated steak, grilled onions, provolone cheese and tahineh sauce served in a pita pocket. Cliff's Grill is a must try for anyone who works in the Texas Medical Center. I will be returning here soon. I am glad to see this place served more than just burgers!
