I get back to Skow town every few years.Last year i was taking to the bowling center for a meal.While home for 2 weeks we ate at 4 different resturants.The bowling center was top's.Had to go back 3 times.I had a great steak, very nice seafood plater, and a turkey pie.I have been in food service from the age of ten.Started in Skowhegan at the Ole Sol back in the 50s washing dishes. I know how hard it is to put out good food for a fair price.If you live there i would say it's a good bet if the place is not already a home town fave. it will be soon.When i get back home again i no where im going out to eat.And between meals i will be making Gifford stop's.
